Last Thursday, we went to Barcelona to visit 'el Parc de la Ciutadella' and the Parliament of Catalonia. When we arrived in Barcelona, the weather was very nice, it was very sunny, so we could have a very nice walk around the park.
A tourist guide, told us many interesting things about the park's history, he didn't speak Catalan, he spoke English, therefore apart from learning historical facts about this nice park, we could put into practice our knowledge of English.
After the guided walk around the park which lasted one hour and a half approximately, we entered the parliament. It is a very beautiful building where our politicians meet and take important decisions.
Finally, later in the afternoon we went to Montjuic, where there are very beautiful sights of the city, and we analysed the urban distribution of Barcelona.
